 Community Arts Piece inspired by a Reminiscence

Project with residents in Heathfield East Sussex.

 

Over 10 weeks the group shared stories and memories about life living through the war and remembering lost loved ones.

 

The chair was a identified as a symbol of the missing person who had not returned home.

 

A poem was written and using photographs contributed by the group fabric was printed and the chair upholstered in their remembrance.

 

This work was commissioned by Jon Hildreth of the Heritage Project and facilitated by Tara Reddy.
