Jenny Miller

As an alumna of the London National Opera Studio, Jenny Miller pursued a professional operatic career encompassing Glyndebourne Festival Opera, Opera North, Scottish Opera, the Royal Opera House and English National Opera.

 

She began a long relationship with Longborough Festival Opera which launched her work as a director, and she founded her own training company Barefoot Opera, which is currently commissioning Orlando Gough and Stephen Plaice to produce a Peoples Opera for Hastings – Bloom Britannia.

 

It will premiere at St Mary in the Castle, Oct.1-3 2020.This commission enables Jenny to pursue her passionate faith in the liberating power of finding our own voices, as she works with  groups and individuals of all ages and back grounds, to discover the joy of singing.
