Claire Hamill

Claire Hamill has been a professional singer and songwriter since 1971 when she released her first album on Island records at the age of 17.

She comes from the North of England but has lived in the  Hastings area since 1985.

​

She has toured the world extensively and has had many appearances on TV and radio.

​

She has just released her 12th album of songs,continues to sing 'Live' but these days likes to balance her life by giving lots of time to family,friends and her choir 'Sage Maverick'.

 

'I love working with people,watching their voices develop along with their confidence.Performing is not essential but it's such a thrill , I would always advise someone to give themselves that opportunity. Singing as part of a group brings not only camaraderie but it resonates somewhere deep. Everyone should try it.'
